Disrupt an icon
Converse wanted to showcase the One Star shoe (often overlooked in favour of the iconic Chuck and All Star silhouettes). A more street level shoe, they needed an experience to be deliberately disruptive and celebrate the sub-culture the OS has.
The world’s best One Star Hotel
Once again working successfully with Hotel Creative, we created an experience where guests could interact with Converse’s cultural collaborators. Each room housed a different experience. Guests could watch live music performances from acts, such as IAMDDB, Slowthai, and Siobhan Bell. They could also access suites that featured digital, product, and live interaction experiences, all curated by Converse collaborators such as Yung Lean, A$AP Nast, fashion label MadeMe, and Tizzy T.
Our team were responsible for the experience design, all physical production, project management and co-ordination of the content and talent.

International consumers and media attended, Converse gained over 50k new followers on instagram, and more than 1.3m Likes of One Star Hotel content on social. £50k in revenue was generated at the hotel ‘gift shop’ and the activation itself became the most talked about of 2019.
