This LGBTQ+ History Month, we celebrated and educated our team through an eye-opening session with AKT.
AKT are an amazing charity that helps provide safe homes, mentoring, training, advocacy and support to young people who are homeless or living in a hostile environment after coming out.
Sadly, for many LGBTQ+ young people, there is simply no safe place to call home – many have experienced rejection, abuse and violence.
Some of our amazing team (Becca, Bix, Briony, Cheryl, George, Helen, Joe, Lizon, Lorcan & Marcia) took part in a challenge to help raise money for a ‘Rainbow Starter Pack’ by running, walking and even roller-skating one mile every hour – for 12 hours!!

We really felt the love and support on the day and managed to raise £1,384.57 + £277.25 in Gift Aid!
